Pre-calculating Duty and VAT

Calculating the duty and VAT manually ahead of the arrival of shipments is sometimes an important but very time consuming job which can all too easily lead to costly errors.

Sequoia allows you to prepare a real customs declaration well in advance of the shipment and to transmit a ‘training mode’ copy of this declaration to CHIEF - the customs declaration processing system.

That makes sure the resulting duty and VAT figures are exactly what will be charged when the shipment eventually arrives. And furthermore, as you’ve already saved the declaration you don’t have to key it all in again. You simply transmit it.
