Update on Modernising Authorisations

Following the recent government wide spending review, HMRC has been reviewing the business cases for the ongoing investment priorities to ensure that they deliver value for money for the taxpayer in all of the different HMRC areas.

HMRC has taken the decision to close the Modernising Authorisations project, meaning there will be no delivery of a new digital customs and excise authorisations system at this time.
