Changes affecting CDS declarations after 31st January 2025

From 1st February 2025, there will be several changes to declaration completion requirements as a result of updated tariff measures and the removal of waiver code 999L

Document code 999L will cease to be recognised by the tariff measures after 31st January 2025

When using 999L to claim a waiver from a tariff measure currently, an alternative waiver document code will need to be used instead of 999L.

Additionally, from 1st February 2025 the use of document code Y999 will be restricted to export sanctions measures.
